Melissa Bergman - Artist 

Melissa is a West Texas native and a self taught artist.  She discovered her love of art during her senior year in high school when she took a general art class.  Eventually, her work history led her to landscape design and new home design.  Art has always played a part in what she does, in one small way or another.

In recent years, Melissa has turned to creating art full time.  She enjoys capturing glimpses of God’s glory in sunrises, sunsets, flowers, clouds, plants, birds and animals.  She loves to experiment and try new techniques to see how paints can flow and mingle to create stunning interest and movement with color.  Melissa works predominantly with watercolor, acrylics and inks.  Acrylic is currently her preferred medium for those bigger canvasses. Melissa has painted a series of Texas landscapes, blown abstract florals, whimsical cocktail animals, large flowers and cactus. Anything is possible!  There is an artist in every one of us; if only in our appreciation of the beauty that surrounds us.
